The place always has a quese of patient patrons awaiting their turn. The décor of the restaurant resembles a standard Chinese restaurant which you see all over India especially in the east. Apart from the regular Chinese fare Nanking specializes in Szechuan cuisine. Try the clear soups along with good starters like spring rolls, crispy fried chicken, drumsticks or chilly chicken. The chopsuey can be a meal in itself. They have a noodles dish known as Soft Noodles with mushrooms, bamboo shoot & chicken which is a must have. Try any special Szechuan curries such as Prawn in Hot and Garlic Sauce. Nanking is one of the few places in Hyderabad serving pork dishes. The service is fast. The quantities are large so caution is advised while ordering. The rates are easy on your pocket. In Hyderabad even with the new breed of Chinese restaurants Nanking reigns right on top.
