Gajar ka Halwa

 Gajar ka Halwa Sweet
- 500 gms grated carrots
- 1 litre milk
- 250 gms sugar
- 1 cup or 125 gms mava
- A handful of chopped almonds and cashewnuts
- A handful of kishmish
- 2 tbsp ghee
- ½ tsp elaichi powder
Heat the milk, add the grated carrots and cook till the carrots are soft and milk starts thickening. Now add the sugar and keep stirring. Then put in the crumbled mava, ghee, elaichi powder and nuts. Cook till the ghee starts separating. Remove from the stove and cover the halwa with warkh. Serve hot or cold
