Dal Gosht Recipe

 Dal Gosht Dish
- 500 gms mutton, cut into pieces
- 3 tbsp chana dal soaked for ½ hour
- 2 tsp adrak-lasan paste
- 3 tbsp beaten curd
- 1 tsp dhania powder
- 1 tsp jeera powder
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp haldi
- ½ tsp garam masala
- 1 tej patta
- 1” piece dalchini
- 2 onions, sliced fine
- 2 tbsp ghee or oil
- A handful of kothmir, chopped
- Salt to taste
To the mutton apply the adrak-lasan paste and beaten curd, then set aside. Heat ghee and add the sliced onions and fry till crisp. Add haldi, chilli powder, tej patta, dalchini, mutton and salt to taste. Fry till ghee separates, then add the dal and fry a little. Put in 2 cups warm water and cook till mutton is tender. Serve hot, garnished with chopped kothmir.
